What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation in which the body enters into self-healing processes. In this state we have access to your subconscious mind and body memories.

Hypnosis is something very natural to us, we experience it many times a day. Before and after sleeping, day-dreaming and even being in the flow state is a kind of hypnosis.

Am I safe and in control?

You are always in control and you can leave hypnosis on your own whenever you don’t feel safe. You will be conscious and aware of what is happening and it won’t feel completely “new” to you.

What can it do for me?

We can undo patterns and beliefs that were build in your past, heal trauma and give you instant relaxation. Hypnosis connects you to your subconscious mind and body memory, so you can access early memories and rewrite beliefs at the root. It can improve your performance and is being used for pain treatment and even surgery without anaesthesia.

What issues can be treated with Hypnosis?

  • Performance Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Healing emotions like: Shame, guilt
  • Relationship issues
  • Shyness
  • Anxiety, panic attacks
  • Low self- esteem
  • Developing Self-worth and self love
  • Integrating emotions like anger, resentment
  • Low energy
  • Being able to stand up for yourself
  • Lack of Confidence and Power
  • Fear of rejection/fear of visibility
  • Money and success blocks
  • These are a few examples, if you are wondering if we could work on your issues – just message me or book a consultation call.

What can’t it do?

It can’t magically heal your emotional wounds just by being in this state (there are a few exceptions, some people experience an immediate abreaction in their bodies, where the body frees itself from trauma) and it can’t break your free will.

How does it work? How does the process look like?

I am using a few techniques that are bringing you in this state within a few minutes. First, we relax your body and then your mind, entering very slow brainwaves that will create that feeling of bliss in your body. You just have to listen and relax and let me guide you in this process.

How is it different from meditation?

In the process of meditation, the aim is usually to get to brain waves in higher frequencies and being highly conscious and aware. It is being used to connect to the spiritual world and overcome the material/physical world as well as for mindfulness and learning to observe without judgement. It is an act of discipline. (Although many guided meditations today probably lead you more into a state that is closer to hypnosis than meditation).

Hypnosis is being used to access the lower brain waves, it is an act of letting go and relaxing instead of being disciplined. In this state we have a deep connection to our body, our subconscious mind and our natural state of being. It can bring us to the roots of our existence instead of going out of our body into the spiritual world. It naturally calms our mind. Nothing is better or worse, they are two different things.

If you have difficulties meditating it is most likely due to trauma and a dysregulated nervous system, in this case trauma healing and hypnosis are more suitable for you to start with.
